Confidentiality Statement

Solid Ground is a peer-support group where people can speak freely and feel
safe. Everything shared in the room stays in the room.
We ask everyone to respect the following:
ï‚· You do not repeat anything said by another member outside the group.
ï‚· You do not discuss other people’s stories, situations or identities.
ï‚· You speak only from your own experience.
ï‚· You do not record or photograph sessions.
ï‚· You do not share personal details about others with anyone outside the
group.
There are only two exceptions to confidentiality:
1. If someone is at immediate risk of harm, including to themselves or
someone else.
2. If safeguarding concerns arise (for example, concerns about a
vulnerable adult).
If an exception ever needs to be used, it will be handled with care and
transparency by the trauma-informed Solid Ground volunteers.
Confidentiality protects every person in the space. We appreciate your respect
for it.
